29 December 2007 - Bob Smith, the former Secretary of the Local Government Boundary Commission for Scotland, was awarded the MBE in the New Year Honours.
27 December 2007 - The appointments of Peter Mackay as Chairman, and both Brian Clark and Paula Sharp as members of the Local Government Boundary Commission for Scotland have been announced by the Scottish Government. 23 October 2007 - Dr Hugh Buchanan has taken up post as Secretary to the Local Government Boundary Commission for Scotland, in succession to Bob Smith who has retired.
